Just a taste of it, really. Now that school is drawing near to its close, I should hopefully update more often. ^_^

These are character designs from Shakespeare's The Winter's Tale: Perdita and Florizel. I'll have these and more characters done soon, so look out for that.

Maya Again!

Here's my Maya character turnaround. I'm really happy with how it turned out, even though I didn't make as many wrinkles in her clothing bump map as I probably should have. I had a hard time making the few wrinkles that I had show up, though. Ah well, another thing in need of revision.

I think I'm going to try making another character in Maya over summer. We'll see, but I think it would be fun to make her male counterpart and pose them in something so retro-actiony cool.

Anyway, I'll post some still images of this same character soon! And maybe some of my vis-dev work... if you're lucky. =P

Photoshop!

The other day, a few of us met to practice Photoshop painting. Here's what I came out with:



I was looking at an unfinished portrait by Bouguereau which I had found on artrenewal.org. *laugh* It doesn't look like her too much, but I was trying to mimic the painting... ^_^

Maya!

So, I thought I'd update with a couple renders of my Maya model, which is still a work in progress, obviously. Hey, there's still a bit of time left in the semester, so there!

She is a captain of her own steam-powered airship -- obviously she's steampunk-inspired. She is somewhat of a pirate and even masquerades under a more infamous pirate's name, using his reputation to her advantage... ^_^

A Year Later! Hooray!

Yeah. *clears throat nervously and shamefully*

I'm not going to make excuses.... Sooooo.... I'll just post my Art 115 final and call it good, okay?



I'm working on some character design at the moment, and hopefully, I'll have those to post as well... But later, of course.

Let's just hope it isn't a whole year later.
